Information on the Right of Withdrawal
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 30 days from the date:
-
on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), have received the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods under a single order and these are delivered together; or
-
on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), have received the last item, if you ordered several goods under a single order and they were delivered separately.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
You can do so by sending an email to support@clairet-london.com.
You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 30 days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have:
-
received the returned goods, or
-
received proof that you have sent back the goods,
whichever occurs first.
You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 30 days from the date you informed us of your decision to withdraw.
The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 30-day period has expired.
You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exclusions and Limitations of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for:
-
the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized;
-
the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of the contract but which can only be delivered after at least 30 days and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations beyond our control;
-
the supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, except for subscription contracts.
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts relating to:
-
the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery;
-
the supply of goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature;
-
the supply of sealed audio or video recordings or computer software that were unsealed after delivery.
